Game Designer

Sound Design and Narrative Design are Crucial in Bringing Interactive Experiences to Life. I strive to be a part of that process.
Hello! My name is Sadira KC and I am a 20 year old Game Designer, based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, focusing on Sound, and Narrative Design!
I have been playing various instruments since I was about 12, and started to write my own music around age 17. I started making songs primarily on acoustic guitar, then moved over to a DAW (Digital Audio Workspace) and made music for various synthetic instruments with a focus on the indie and alternative genre, and 8-bit plugins. When I was a child, music and sound in games interested me as it is a crucial part of immersing players into the narrative of games.

I began writing stories around 8 years old, having become encapsulated by the process of conveying my imagination in literary form. I started with short stories, eventually moving to longer stories based on existing IPs when I was 13. As I grew up, I started to create more original works, drawing inspiration from my life. The most common themes of my work became discovering identity, navigating relationships, and sense of community, all placed into more fictional settings.
I currently study at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario and am in my second year of the Honours Bachelor of Game Design. Here, I was able to learn how to apply my musical abilities into a digital space, learning how to implement both sound effects and songs into the Godot game engine.
In my personal time, outside of my work-related passions, I really enjoy going to concerts and other live events. Overall, watching the process of bringing things from different mediums onto a stage or to a live audience, whether those be comedy shows, concerts, musicals, or other types of performances, are some of my favorite things.
